Maui, HI - May 2005

Vacationed on Maui for six nights. Stayed at the very posh Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas on Maui. Kids had fun playing in the pool and on Baby Beach. We shopped in Lahaina and purchased a great vintage European poster for our family room, fed the beautiful Koi fish at the resort, and ate well all week, including meals at Roy's and Sansei.

Disneyland, CA - April 2005

Went to Disneyland with the kids for the first time and to celebrate Christine's birthday. Brandon had a lot of fun riding Buzz Lightyear Astroblaster, it's a small world, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Autopia, and the monorail and getting autographs from the characters. Taylor, on the other hand, wasn't herself. We think the characters may have spooked her. We'll have to bring her back in a couple of years...
Seattle, WA - September 2004

We went to visit our good friends, Jay and Nina, and meet their baby Jani in Seattle. This was our first plane trip as a family. Brandon and Taylor were both troopers on the plane. Everyone had a lot of fun visiting a train museum, Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, and Snoqualmie Falls.
Bonfante Gardens - August 2003

We took Brandon to Bonfante Gardens in Gilroy, CA. He got a kick riding the kiddie rides, merry-go-round, train, and playing in the jungle gym.
Carmel, CA - April 2003

Yep, it's been a while since we've been on vacation. Finally spent a long weekend in Carmel with Brandon. This was our first trip together as a family. We stayed at the Highlands Inn in a ocean-view suite and took Brandon to the Monterey Bay Aquarium where he saw sharks, giant sea turtles (which he liked the best), and penguins.
Paris - March 2001

Photos from our last international trip...and the place where we realized we were pregnant. Kelvin will always remember asking, "What does two black lines mean?" when staring at the home pregnancy test we brought along. Oh, and it's where we saw Antonio Banderas filming on the Champs Elysses. Christine won't ever forget the baguette sandwiches there.
Arizona - March 2000

We always wanted to see one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Unfortunately, we neglected to look at the map and flew into Phoenix instead of Flagstaff, which would have saved us three hours of driving time. We did stay at the groovy Hyatt Regency Resort at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale though. The Grand Canyon was well...grand. Words nor photographs do it justice so if you haven't been, you have to see it for yourself.
Italy - October 1999

Photos from the best vacation we ever had. This was a two week trek to the Big Three: Rome, Florence, and Venice. Italy was, in a word, belissimo! The food is absolutely fabulous and the leather goods are like butter. Christine still has dreams about her shopping spree in Florence.
